"January 5 is coming , so exciting"

What did I miss? What is so exciting about January 5? Is it the PNAS paper? If so, then this is a nothingburger date. The PNAS paper was first published online December 11, 2020. The January 5 date is just the official journal issue in which it will be printed in. But the paper is already published online. Nothing magical will happen with this paper on January 5. The peer-reviewed, accepted version that appeared online Dec 11 will be essentially the same version on Jan 5.
