I am hoping that this news release yesterday was because there was some form of high-level brinkmanship involved on the part of Don, Ken, and their negotiators! Were they fully prepared to deliver Plan B or C today, when out of the blue the phone suddenly rang?

The SP certainly doesn't suggest that Plan A is in the works, but the seemingly "last second" news release yesterday after the market close remains a puzzle for now.

Unless of course, you have a good ear to the pipeline!
