You summed it up prefectly fouremm. As I'm sure you know well, based on reading your posts, when companies are at a crossroads or in need of help to see the future direction the BOD or CEO will bring in a consultancy such as McKinsey & Co, Boston Consulting Group, Booze Allen, etc. 

These companies will assess the situation, determine strengths and weaknesses in all areas including vision, management capabilities, define opportunities and threats, link the client to resources and connections and provide specific expertise. McKinsey is full of biotech specialists.

Quite often these exercises or analysis will help CEO's to realize their own shortcomings or will help a BOD restructure to reflect the needs to the situation.

I'm sure some posters will say that "RVX is a small biotech with limited financial resources and can't afford consultants". My answer to that is that if it is true that RVX is the leading epigenetic CVD company in the world with a 6 to 8 year lead then any of these consultancies are smart enough to know how to capitalize on this opportunity. They'll easily figure out how to get paid. It's a no brainer for them.

They could also restructure the communications function and make it effective in creating shareholder value. Get the message out in investor friendly language. Showcase the science and world leading scientists. Why would great scientists waste their time on RVX epigenetics if they didn't believe in it?

They could also provide a POV on financing options and which markets to list on.

It's time to think big. Call McKinsey. It does not cost a nickel to make the call and get moving. We're seeing more independent scientific research publications on apabetalone and results are exciting. Get the message out and let people know.

Right now it seems like the "worlds leader in CVD epigenetics" is behaving more like a cornered rat than a "world leader" grasping a straws like Saudi money (which hasn't arrived yet) and a COVID pivot.

It's time to ask for help and help will flow in.
