Thanks cityslicker99. This insite gives me some hope from the medical/science side.
From my perspective I see the Covid trial as the only hope for generating any value out of this stock for the next 5 years. BoM2 seems to be no where near starting or being funded and it will take at least 3 years to see results. There might be an increase in the stock if the BoM2 trial starts. There could be a lift if BoM2 is done with a significant partner but Don has already turned down a BP (perhaps for good reasons).
If the Covid trial results in apabetalone being an FDA approved drug it should give us a shot at a significant share price lift, and, if significant enough, it could help fund BoM2.
If they cleaned out the management team and brought in a competent team there could be a significant boost in the share price. I doubt this will happen as Don controls the board and seems to have gotten a vote of confidence with his raise. The Ori conversion may also be a vote of confidence and provides some hope that insiders have actually seen a plan. Perhaps Ori thought that their debenture would never get paid out so at least they could get something for the shares although that is a big stretch.
It is so frustrating to see such promising science squandered because of poor business capabilities.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Covid trial as my only near term hope.
GLTA - I hope we hear something good soon.
