I don't think the rate of progress will be in Don's hands now. It will be down to those involved in the nuts and bolts of the trial. Sites have to be chosen, investigators appointed, committees appointed, paperwork printed, perhaps assays organised in a central lab, standardization and quality control procedures put in place..... There's a lot of routine stuff that needs to be done before a trial starts to ensure it runs smoothly once it kicks off. A lot of people are involved.
