I was disappointed to see Mantitoba Premier Pallister in a press conference being asked about Ivermectin, which has apparently come through numerous trials with flying colours as both a safe and effective treatment for people with Covid, even serious Covid. Pallister was asked about Ivermectin and other treatments, what was being done etc.....and he dodged the question completely and just talked about the vaccines.
It reminded me of what happened with hydroxychloroquine after The Lancet published a paper based on fraudelent data put out by some outfit called Surgisphere, an article that they were forced to later retract which resulted in The Lancet having to change it's editorial policy. As it turned out hydroxy does apparently offer some modest benefits when used as a preventative medication, or in the very early stages of mild Covid. Ivermectin results by contrast seem far more robust.....studies out of England and Australia are pointing to 100% recovery, even in severe cases....
Of course Ivermectin and Droxy are both generics, on the market for decades....so for the pharma industry, the squeeze is probably not worth the juice....in point of fact there is pretty much zero juice. I'm sure they'd rather a safe and effective treatment that has patent protection...so 208 might be something they'd love.
If you missed the story on hydroxychloroquine, it was actually The Gaurdian which broke the news:
This Surgisphere outfit apparently only had 3 people listed on their corporate roster, a CEO with multiple malpractice suits against him, a sci-fi writer and an exoctic dancer.....how The Lancet published the research based on fraudulent data is.....it boggles the mind, and I've seen some commentary suggesting it was a hit piece....
And here's a link to Pallister dodging the question on Ivermectin:
