It's a far far cry from a BP partnership or buyout but in the absence of an as yet proven result it's at least something that can move things forward if the trial works out.  If the trial fails then the focus is back on BoM2 and this Covid thing will have just been something they tried along the way that didn't work out.  Nothing ventured nothing gained kind of thing.
