I wouldn't read too much into the end date estimate. The trial will have all of the relevant data avialable for analysis after they can scrounge up 100 volunteers to dose for 28 days.

Hoping against hope this thing knocks out cytokine storm, and can therefore be of relevant use beyond covid (flu, cold, etc).  It seems the covid field has a lot of competition, and decreasing infection rates. I think the world would take a lot more notice of a drug that is not covid specific, but reduces mortality for any cytokine storm response.
