They delay starting could be due to competition between trials. Perhaps they have to wait for another one to finish before the first patient is entered. Or it could be something very simple like getting forms printed or pills distributed, etc.

I don't think it's a cause for concern. RVX has shown that it's able to organise much bigger and much more complicated trials than this one. A mulit-center multi-national trial like BETonMACE was an extremely challenging undertaking for a small company. But they got it done.
