There have been 180 million cases of Covid so far. So even if a third or a quarter require treatment for long-covid that translates to a potential for 45 million to 60 million patients. $8/pill X 2 X 30 days = $480 per patient X 45 million = $21,600,000,000
Realistically though less than a tenth of all cases would likely seek treatment, but that still represents a couple of billion dollars in our coffers.
Sure wish Don would hurry up. Others are developing a pill to be ready for the fall and I fear they will eat our lunch before we even start a trial.
Extremely frustrating!
