Paladin, I get the range of emotions, the different personality types and how that plays out, and so on.
I also understand the biotech sector and what's involved in the life cycle of a biotech company.
My comments were directed towards our last fifteen months as it relates to the apabetalone-Covid story.
An absolutely great discovery about how apabetalone could play a lead role here as a therapeutic, not only re Covid but also in other areas (e.g. sepsis for one) going forward.
Don keeps mentioning that yogurt study, but at the rate things are progressing here, they may have their results before we do.
So, why the seemingly glacial pace - at least for me - all over again?
In which direction do I/we point the accusing finger towards, right now, today?
Our company?
The FDA?
The CRO?
Canadian/Brazilian government bureaucracies?
Lack of funds?
Big Pharma pressure on "somebody" to slow us down, so that they can make the $$$ on the vaccine end.
The politics of stalling us - not rushing this to market so that the vaccine hesitant cave in and get their shots before they hear that there a potentially viable alternative?
I'd also love to throw in discussions with BP, but does that make any sense at this point?
None of the above?
Or, is it a combination of some of the above?
A head scratcher for sure!
