So, after yesterday's revelation that RVX is using a "consultant"...a lobbyist...I started to reflect about it! He made contact with the local MP several times over the course of a few months. Did I miss one in August...holidays??? A lowly backbencher MP - not even the health minister's office from what we can tell!

Isn't it just a pitiful comment at where we're at in Canada? I don't care if it's the Libs, the Conservatives, or the NDP! A former dean of the Faculty of Medicine at one of Canada's finest universities can't have a word with the powers-that-be, nope...you have to potentially line the pockets of whatever party (nudge nudge, wink wink) to get the wheels moving?

Hope that's not the case, but lived long enough under this system to know that's how things get done!
