Hi Jonzo.
Who knows what the status of BOM2 is, and ...
So you feel "better the devil you know" and I would have agreed at one time until last last 14 months began to make me suspicious. There are plenty of young leaders out there with McKinnsey backgrounds, Havard MBAs and biotech experience that would give their eye teeth to get apabetalone to market. These are big picture people. Not people that would skip a futility analysis to save a buck. Can you imagine what a feather it would be in their cap and RVX's cap as well? And RVX has the incentive package to attract the best and brightest talent in the world...world class business talent for world class science. No more floundering and discounted financings!
Don's most important job should be to appoint a hiring committee to find a world class CEO. If it doesn't work out then fire him/her just like Julie Charrington (I think???) at Zenith. She was assembling a strong team many of whom are still in place I think and that is a testament to her strong leadership.
I've never seen a business strategy for RVX other than "really excited about". My background is corporate in highly reputable campanies. I have minimal board experience but I do understand roles and repsonsibilites and respect for shareholder.
I guess what I'd like to know is "what is the purpose of the company"?
Anyway, always lots of interesting posts and varying opinions on the board and that is healthy IMHO.
Cheers
