Interesting.

A few of thoughts;

1. Even if RVX has possibly missed the boat on Covid, if the trial gets completed at some point, and if apabetalone is given approval as a Covid treatment I plan to find a doctor to subscribe it to me off label because it increases functional HDL (proven) and I thus hope it will provide me with reversre cholesterol transport (unproven because of an under powered trial). I think finding such a doctor will be very difficuly because I've spoken to 3 of my doctors about apabetalone and they dimiss it as being foolish nonsense.
2. Re the Canadian trial timing, these were words that came out of Don's mouth so my position is I'll believe it when I see it. I don't trust a thing Don says anymore.
3. There may be many more versions of Covid to hit us in the future so this trial may give evidence of the breadth of apabetalone's impact.

I'm very excited that the trial has started but very hesitant about it's execution in any reasonable time frame.
