if a patient was already in ICU they can't be enrolled. but, if patients were eligible to be enrolled and progressed to ICU while in hospital, their WHO rating would go up. if that deteriorated patient was in SoC only arm, then the result would be in favor rvx.

in short, if patient was enrolled, but progressed while in hospital to icu, they're not excluded.
