Message: Compensation

In the AGM Information Circular, especially for anyone new, if you are looking at the compensation table noting the lesser numbers for the year ending Dec. 31, 2020, bear in mind that year involved the year-end date change. Those numbers for that year are only for 8 months. The numbers for most returned to normal for the year ending Dec. 31, 2021 as that is for 12 months. Base salaries are much the same as the year ending April 30, 2020 but the salary based awards (DSUs) have been reduced a lot. I don't know if this is recognition of their failures or not but what we really need is successes, not recognition of failures.

The one exception is Ken Labioda who left the company mid-year last year. He was VP of Business Development of which that position has not been filled, I believe and those responsibilities have probably fallen to Eversana. He was paid half a year salary for the 6 months he worked plus the proportionate DSUs. He also appears to have been paid $200,000 severance to leave.
