jonzobot - I also doubt that the reason for terminating the COVID trial was slow enrolment. IMO though the more likely explanation is that they just simply didn't have the money to do the trial. They were expecting, hoping, praying that they would get the $3 or $4 million from the Canadian government that simply never came. For a company that is living hand to mouth how the heck could they possibly do a 100 person trial with zero cash on hand and outstanding bills? From the pre trial data that they had from the New Zealand trial a number of years ago about significantly reducing or completely stopping the cytokine storm there is no doubt in my mind that $3 or $4 million in trial costs would have easily paid for itself in savings to the Canadian Healthcare system. Politics at work for the population I guess.
