Title: Director, Scientific Development

Job Description:

The Director of Scientific Development provides support to the Resverlogix team in meeting research and development objectives by contributing to the conduct and monitoring of scientific research studies both internally and externally. The Director is responsible for scientific, medical and regulatory writing, preparation of scientific manuscripts, presentations and clinical documents, and provides support in managing Resverlogix’ research and development program, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Research & Development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Compile data, write, format, proof-read, and provide critical review of scientific and medical documents with consistency and accuracy within allotted timelines (such as: presentations, scientific journal articles, regulatory reports, etc.)
• Participate in scientific discussions, data review and setting objectives including providing updates on the status of research and projects (data summaries)
• Review and stay informed of the scientific and clinical landscape in multiple therapeutic areas
• Manage logistics for external research collaborations and projects
• ·Manage ordering and budgeting (invoices, purchase orders)
• Create and track non-disclosure agreements and contracts

Qualifications:

• PhD degree in biological or medical sciences, with experience in industry preferred
• Excellent scientific writing and communication skills (oral, written, liStrong ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and problem solve in a fast paced environment
• Solid command of research methods, techniques and assays
• ·Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
• Experience working in team environment
• Strong command of common software programs (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization software preferred (GraphPad Prism, XLSTAT, R, etc.)
