Koo ... So true, so much good ad hoc data. Also a lot of good end results data, just not good enough or with the requisite p values, in some cases for modifiable and correctable study reasons. Stroke and study power come to mind, from BoM. Will we ever get it right, in a clinical study? Will we ever even get the funds to prove we now have it right?
I hold onto the belief that this technology will "eventually" be on the market someday. But to your point, will time run out on RVX? Will time run out on ME, waiting for that day?
Time is also running out on that "8 year lead" in epigenetics, as well as patents. Oh there is time left, plenty on the patents, but there is a gradually declining value as time passes.
I have no idea whether RVX will get the needed funding, to continue to move forward. An estimated $60m? That's a drop in the bucket for many BP's, and even many individuals like Bezos, Cuban, Gates, and Tiger Woods haha ..... Tiger Woods even turned down a cool $900m to join the LIV tour. There are reports that a promising high school football player has been offered $15m to go to Texas A&M to play QB via the new NIL dealings. There is a lot of monopoly money floating around for nonsense. But at what cost to RVX when the stock is circling the drain at $.20 U.S.??
Maybe the best financing options are within the current circle? Those that already have substantial skin in the game and reasons to see it succeed, Like Dart, Hepa, Ori, Don/RVX Insiders? Alone or in collaboration? Or do they fear that is throwing good money after bad money? Or are they committed to using OPM (again at what cost)? Maybe some of these "players" with inside views, can and should bet on BET and BoM2 & CORAL? Or is there finacing on the horizon that "we" just don't know about yet??
Last resort potentially (??) is bailing out cheap ($2-10 pps??) to a BP that wants this NextGen therapy platform for current or future development? But why wouldn't they just wait it out, and buy RVX at the local Calgary Sheriff's Auction? Well, if there is substance to the science and a BP (or two) has the wherewithall and resources to develop a potential blockbuster and knows how to take advantage of an FDA BTD, maybe there would be interest from several well positioned BP's to bid on a deal (with cheaper value limits). Maybe below the dream values that the BoD and Don envision, but better than going belly up and getting nothing for the 20 years of development and toil?
With the BP's, they may either see massive opportunity, or a "fomo" type fear of their competition in certain disease states pushing them into yesterday's news at some point down the road, with an epi platform obsoleting their products and ongoing R&D? Need at least 2 BP's that are intrigued, and have either/both of those motives, to get some type of attractive value, if RVX can't come up with the needed funding on its own via internal/external sources. What if a desperate RVX quitely put it on the streets thay they are selling to the highest bidder, period, with no preconceived "floor" value? Could that generate a $1-2b bid from somebody, and a $3-6 pps valued sale, in a pinched "fire sale" exit?
I don't know man, I really don't. But at some point everyone involved has to decide to do something with this platform, whether accept massive dilution or punt and sell cheap. And $1-2 billion dollars is still a lot of money, and a lot better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick in BK court.
But yes, the clock is ticking on epi development, patents life, and RVX viability. So far, the whales (Dart, Hepa, Ori, Eversana) are staying "inside the can" that keeps getting kicked down the road. Why, what do they see or know?? I guess that is a good thing, but something needs to happen soon.
