Koo,,,one thing to note,,,,in big business hidden agendas and relationships via other avenues likely exist,,ones forged since their risk was first taken here..,,And within other arena/s where they operate they can and will make deals outside of anything tangible to us minions. Spoils can be diviided up in many ways. So many that it is next to impossible to trace or prove one effort was specific for the benefit of another. 

I dont count any of these possibilites out around this company. No matter, the senior team will be cared for in the outcome,,,even if competition want to kill the advancement of this science. And that might not be out of the rhelm of fair assumptions when a suspected bolckbuster is in limbo!
