I'm not 100% sure what narmac is getting at, but , I have pondered about how much cheaper it would be for BP to buy a few 'key people's cooperation' vs. buying the company. When you consider all of the potential applications of apabetalone it is extremely disruptive to BP and each and every year that apabetalone is delayed translates into undisrupted, unextinguished billions in annual BP sales, IMO.
I can see how tempting it would be for a BP executive to spend a tiny portion of that on delaying disruptive threats. The possibility of this happenig to us is never lost on me. Again, IMO.
If this totally avoidable tragedy isn't pulled out of the fire and we lose everything I will be contacting the Foreign Bribery Task Force of the RCMP's Fraud Division.
