01:40 PM EDT, 10/02/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Richmont Mines Inc. (RIC.TO) has acquired 19.9% of the common shares of Monarques Gold (MQR.V). The company this morning reported that it has closed the previously announced transaction with Monarques Gold Corporation whereby Monarques acquireS Richmont's Quebec based assets including the Beaufor Mine, the Camflo Mill and the Wasamac development project as well as all other mineral claims, mining leases and mining concessions located in the province of Quebec.
