SPOT COFFEE OPENS NEW LOCATION IN NORTH YORK, ONTARIO
Spot Coffee (Canada) Ltd. is opening its ninth cafe, Spot Coffee Park Place, on Thursday, Nov. 29. SPoT Coffee Park Place, located at 77 Provost Drive, is situated in a Concord Adex development currently containing more than 1,100 units across 5 condo towers with 15 additional towers to be built in the coming years. Additionally, the cafe is walking distance to numerous big box retail locations, a large hospital, the new Sheppard subway line and is central to the most highly travelled section of the TransCanada highway and to the affluent North York community with a population of over 630,000 citizens.
This 4,000 square foot cafe featuring a state-of-the-art kitchen will showcase several remarkable design features including 4 large suspended canopies above the service counter, a hand-made chandelier and raised parlour seating featuring a mural and art displays produced by local artists. An open house for the community will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Guests will be able to sample SPoT's food and coffee beverages free of charge. Electronic gift cards and roasted coffee beans will be sold at a promotional price to celebrate the cafe opening and the holiday season.
The build out of SPoT Coffee Saratoga Springs in Upstate New York, the Company's tenth cafe, will be completed by the end of December and the Company anticipates this location to open for the community early in the first quarter of 2013. SPoT Coffee reiterates its intention to open its eleventh and twelfth cafes, Glens Falls and Coral Gables, during the first quarter of 2013 and continues to identify new locations for future cafes. SPoT Coffee's 2013 growth plans include up to ten new corporate cafes, additional licensed locations in Florida and a focus on the wholesale and retail distribution of the Company's award-winning gourmet roasted coffee and proprietary coffee blends.
