Tough call, I've found.

Friends are ticked off when it goes up and they're not on board; they're more than ticked off if they get on board and it goes down.

My strategy now is to mention it and talk some if they're interested and say that I DO NOT know what is going to happen but have a strong belief and have weathered the roller coaster for years.

But the bottom line is this: when it goes down I'm a stupid loser and when it rises they are brilliant investors.

So ... try to enjoy the boat ride.
