San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
My view is also that gold will certainly riase significantly, but I am not sure we are quite there yet... so I am putting exuberance on hold for now and tending to be a bit cautious.
I am not hoping for the economic collapse that some are advocating, either. A large scale collapse like that will result in tremendous hardship for everyone, including all of us. There are no winners in that picture. Meanwhile, governments, bankers, and whoever has any influence will be working hard to avoid that. Remember that Canada's per capita debt approx. 10 years ago was worse than the US's situation at present -- we are far from "end of the economic world".
I tend to think that there will be a growing shift away from the US dollar in the world, though, and a move towards gold in a stronger way would be a good thing.
My hunch (not my wish) is that we will likely see some kind of military/war action somewhere in the world again soon and that will likely create higher levels of fear and uncertainty - that is when I expect to see gold spike. JMHO.
