Well, for one thing, honest investors in the company deserve honesty. In this market, information is vital to those honest investors who are willing to stand pat when they know the facts. Why let the "big players" take unfair advantage in an information vacuum when some good news might incourage the small investor to hold out for a higher price?

If Hugh is withholding information that would encourage me to hold out for more money, he's missing the point. We own the company too.
