San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
I know the question was not directed to me, but if I may give my opinion. I think that SGR feels that they have something very large at hinge zone #4. Possibly even something similar to G's pencil type deposit at the bottom of their mine. And to a neophyte as myself the explanation presented made everything seem very plausible. Here's the rub, to find the pencil(if it exists) will require a lot more drilling to find it or one lucky poke. Saying that,it does not leave a lot of exploration happening in other areas,IMHO. Why would you if you could delineate a G type deposit.
The site map shows a lot of POTENTIAL hinge zones, but not confirmed. During the scrum at the front I asked about the Cartwright deposit and if it was part of the hinge zones going west. Bill responded that it seems to fit. Pursued it further to see if he would commit on MMU's property. If I recall properly he said that, that area may be the granite fold which is similar to what surrounds G. i.e. not consistent with the hinge zones. He did say that the zones could continue that way but that marum(he referred to them as "they") would have too do a significant amount of drilling to get to where he is on Hinge #4. Did not sound promising for MMU from what I understood of it, I'm not a geologist, so call him up and confirm further.
Someone asked about McEwen having a look at these results. Bill responded by saying that he is a hard guy to nail down long enough for him too look at something new????? My thoughts were that even though he is using G's model this is Bill's baby and he would like to bring it home. By his understanding of the area it seems very possible that he will.
Again all JMHO and call the company to confirm. The above are things I heard or thought I heard.
Cheers
