drop etrade, go to questrade, there fees are much less

i just did this a few months ago.

trades are 5-10 bucks pending on shares traded.

min 5$ transaction max 10$ with 0.01$ per share.

so 100 shares * 0.01 = 1$ but min 5$ so its 5$

so 800 shares * 0.01 = 8$

so 5000 shares * 0.01 = 50$ but max is 10$ so its 10$

No min value, no yearly acocunt fees..... they will also have the TFSA and all that stuff.
