I am sure Hugh has a big heart and I thank him for the risks he took to make this investment possible. I hope he makes some money off these investments in the stores, restaurants, and drilling company while the shareholders (including him) wait for SGR to turn a profit.
If shareholders complain about management, dilution, production or missed targets, do not think they are attacking Hugh personally. They are simply are taking a measure of the company's performance and expressing their opinion of this.
As a shareholder I reject the idea that targets cannot be made and met simply because it is the "mining business". There are many mining companies out there that manage to do this. And yes, there are certainly more that do not manage to meet targets. But there is no reason SGR should not aspire to be one of the companies that manage to make and meet targets.
Looking forward to getting some gold out of the ground and a prosperous SGR 2009.
