North Lion,, I thought they were driving decline, not sinking shaft. If indeed they are driving decline It would seem that they should be doing more than 20 feet per day.

It has been a while since I have worked underground, 1958 to be excact, when we drove a 20 by20 tunnel through mission mountain at Shalath BC. We always pulled 2 12 foot
rounds a shift except when we had to lay track. So we averaged about 60 feet per 24 hour period.

I thought mining methods and equipment had improved in the last 50 years.
