Sorry to say, SAN has never shown any propensity to "enhance" market gains with any of the tools available. Possibly those intentions are being foreshadowed by the "major" players in a long term attempt to acquire a full basket of shares held by weaker hands.

In plain "Anglais" known purely and simply as manipulation. The "Bernie Madoff School" has focused new light on on complete lack of any controls for "manipulation" (a "lay" term for outright fraud!) or "investigation" on any exchange in any market! (Have the exchanges the necessary commitment or personel? At the SEC in the US, many close to the industry in recent weeks, say no to both commitment and personel. Where does that leave Canadian exchanges?)

Don't expect any better commitment or adequate investigative tools here either, in fact, if history is any indicator Canada has always been thought of as "fast and loose!!" where our markets are concerned.

Where there's smoke, there is usually fire somewhere in the neighbourhood!

Maybe it's just "chimney" smoke rising from homes and businesses in Bissett!!
