I can't see any new fund being given any special consideration for a PP unless the plan is to raise money to acquire somebody else and SGR has exhausted all other avenues to raise $. Why would they take the chance shopping ownership and voting rights to some random fund when they could probably give Agnico Eagle or Goldcorp a call cutting them in for 5%. Or why not just give the largest shareholder a call? Maybe it would be the largest shareholder making the call.

Over the next few years/decades gold's roll will be huge. Ned knows this. Funds that invest in gold companies know this. Dale knows this. Any new financings from outside the family will have to pay up...big time.
