Not to jinx us, but I think the drop in gold and gold shares was just a head fake today. Nothing has changed and I think people will start looking right through statements like Obama is making as nothing more than feel good remarks made to placate the masses. But, hey, what do I know?

LONDON (AP) -- Concluding his first international summit, President Barack Obama hailed agreements at the emergency meeting of world powers Thursday as a "turning point in our pursuit of global economic recovery." But he cautioned, "There are no guarantees."
