. . . have a billionaire father or uncle who could give us any insight on how they "earned" their wealth? Is their financial success due to complience with the intelligent design inherant in nature's laws? Fierce competition, resulting in only the survival of the fittest players; rugged individualism; aggressiveness; the mechanism of supply and demand; enlightened monetary policy; the concentration of wealth in the hands of those most likely to make large investments for large returns; (SAN tends to have fallen into this category!) the imperitive to growth; the levelling of all "playing fields;" the elevation of predation to a fine art; (A la SAN when lower prices result from higher than usual volume following stellar press releases!) or the ellimination of interference from governments; (seems obvious it was evident in Bernie's 50 billion dollar fraud) unions; ethics; empathy; and good taste? Or was it just pure unadulterated predation, spawned by subtle manipulation, combined with one or all of the above?
These forces and more allow the "Invisible Hand" to write our future. In fact, we as humble investors scratching to survive against one or all of the above have little or no defence, we simply "eat humble pie" accepting whatever "crumbs" are offered untill at some point we holler "uncle" and the Invisible Hand takes all without so much as a squeal!
Deep down we all know that if we just work a little harder, grab a little more, network with more enthusiasm, and learn all the "secrets to success" hidden away in those motivational tapes, then, one day, we too will be able to backstroke through those cubic acres of cash, which, after all, is our only goal in life! (Although some may subscribe to a broader philosophical need)
Who will we thank when this ($10.00 SAN) all comes to fruition. Just off the top, Daffy Duck, comes to mind!
