Reminds me of my days in the Yukon in the early 70's. Could recite the cremation of Sam McGee all the way thru after I had a few Yukon Hooch's. Still have a bottle in the cupboard somewhere. Buddy Knox ( Party Doll )was playing there as a regular and we partied every night till 4 AM. Gold was still cheap and you could buy the little woman a pair of gold pan earring with nugget's and crossed pick and shovel for $25.00 at Murdoch's. Gold was still $35.00 an oz. Old Wigwam Charlie was still digging basement's by hand ( he lived in a cardboard shack year round) and the Yukon Turkey's (Crow's) were attacking dogs and stealing their food in the alley's behind the restaurants. Those were the day's my friends.
