Louis James in Casey's June issue of the International Speculator states that when gold prices take off under hyperinflation the US Gov't and maybe other countries will make illegal to hold gold.

"I believe that the government has already decided to make the ownership of gold illegal once again. However, they plan to create hyperinflation, which will spark a gold mania (if it hasn’t occurred already at that time). I predict that they will wait until the height of the mania, then declare gold possession illegal. They will announce that "Some of the very wealthy have been greedily hoarding gold; in effect tying up the country’s assets, making it impossible for the average American to recover from his financial difficulties. America’s assets must be returned to the people (i.e., the government)."
