The annual meeting of Rubicon Minerals took place tonight at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto.and its shareholders were treated to an extraordinary event.

Shareholders were graced by the presence of Rob McEwen himself who was sitting in the front row in a shimmering gold tie, along with the 6 board of directors of Rubicon.

David Adamson delivered an amazing presentation demonstrating Rubicon’s immensely comfortable position and was able to show that it is poised for an adventure that will be unprecedented in terms of junior mining companies anywhere in the world.

Along with his forward looking statements, Adamson elaborated on the fact that Rubicon is consistently producing drill results that will ultimately show an overall picture of shear profits for anyone involved with the company.

The talk in the room was “what is a reasonable offer for a takeover?” Numbers ranging from 3-5 times its current price were floating around, and were quickly justified with sound geologic and financial explanations.

The overall consensus was that Rubicon is a force to be reckoned with and is ready to move to the next stage of its life!

It was great to be there and to see and hear the results first hand.

As a major share holder of Rubicon Rob McEwen did alot to instill investor confidence. A similar move by a major shareholder in San Gold would be much appreciated.
