I don't think it matters as it's just a public disclosure formality.
The $$$$ can just as easily input the data in their propritary model as San Gold can in theirs at this point. Goodman's already privy to insider information and there's been enough coverage of the Hinge for San Gold to show up on most of the major's radar and in McEwan's index fund.
Regardless of the story the BOD waxes, they ultimately hold the key to any takeover and until they are willing, they'll say whatever they can until we can get full shareholder value.
Whether it's a parabolic spike 6 months from now or a slow and steady climb over the next six months, what difference does it make to the longs.
Maybe someone at the AGM can ask if the intent is to go mining or get bought out. It's a reasonable question and if the answer is to get bought out, maybe see how they would arrive at a fair price and what exactly do they think is fair at this point.
Ask him to round it to the nearest billion.
