There were seven of us at the Victoria Inn lounge to night: hotmuck, andy, wpgmoney, merc19, mbgold, 4lwpg and myself. It was good to catch up with each other once again - I have met and chatted with each of them before except for mbgold - nice to meet you tonight, Boris.

We talked about San Gold a lot (obviously) - swapping theories of whether the share price is going up or down next, whether there is manipulation of the price happening, what our major shareholder group (Goodman & Co) has in mind for the company and the future, what SGR management's priorities really are, how many ounces will be in the 43-101 when it comes out, when we can expect the 43-101, etc. All of these ideas are speculative on our part and have been talked about on this board, so repeating the details here would not add anything.

We also talked about other stocks of interest like MMU, WEL, MEM, EXN, OIL, CLL, GZD, RRX, AZC, GAM, and MDI. Various ones of us have been in these or hold them now, so we shared our views on them.

We also talked about the advantages of different brokers and what they offer (e.g. the free Level 2 offered by Credential Direct, just by having an account with them, even with only a few bucks in there, the low rates of CIBC Investor's Edge and BMO InvestorLine), and we talked about the changes at Jory now that their staff is reduced from what they had previously.

Those are the main points -- not too much of huge sugnificance, but it was great to have the chance to visit face to face and hash some ideas out.
