San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
At the AGM Hugh and Dale ran the show and did all of the presentations. A while back Merc and I attended a Jory Capital evening where Bill Ferreira did a detailed presentation, it was very interesting, impresive and confidence inspiring.
Sure the AGM is a annual requirement of any public company however once the formal business portion was done, they should have had Bill and/or Ian give us an presention on their respective areas of resposibility.
We are all shareholders of the Company although even on a combined basis, smaller than Dundee and the other institutional investors, but its not right we are told or given access only to required or minimum information.
In reflection the AGM was sub standard, not well prepared for and was more of a formality that did not provide anything of value or comfort to the average investor.
Senior Management seemed more guarded and defensive and less open to the small shareholders than previous AGM's. Fortunately, I believe they are honest gentlemen who certainly don't overpromote/hype then sell their own shares. Fortunately for us mushrooms, the land package will eventually prove up significant value and we will likely get taken over.
Bottom line, I have increasing faith in the upside value of our assets but disappointed in Senior Management's ability or willingless to communicate with all shareholders which I believe handcaps our share price. Let's not even reflect on the value of our IR team.
IMHO.
