In what other industry would a geologist, with no previous management experience, be put in charge of a major industrial enterprise?

Let's face it, our CEO in reality is the COO, Goodman's in charge and he probably gave the BOD marching orders for the AGM to keep it short and to the point and for some loose lipped directors to keep it buttoned.
