Is Ned Goodman some kind of witchdoctor or something? All this talk of swaps and crosses is giving me a headache. Why would the doctor even own such a large short position in the stock in the first place? In the final analysis there is only one outcome to covering a large short position and that is the stock would go up and not down. I will say however that I am just as mystified as everyone else as to what would have motivated anyone in his or her right mind to sell as prospective a stock as San is yesterday.
