They went on to suggest that the Rice Lake Mine could contribute up to 100,000 ounces per year for a projected total of 300,000 ounces by 2012. Of course this would probably require mill upgrading etc., however IMO I think the significance of this new Deep West zone is another game changer similar to the Hinge.
I'm not sure this would require a mill upgrade, as the numbers from the news release amount to essentially a doubling of the Rice Lake Mine grade. i.e. the extra oz would come from improved grade from expected ore tonnage.
