People will continue to predict foolishly, especially if paid to do so, and there is no endpoint to institutional fraud. If you ever have to heed a forcast, keep in mind that its accuracy degrades rapidly as you extend it through time.
Our only hope is to stand in the way of big moves up, and stand aside for the big moves down! Predicting either has proven, with time, to be an impossibility for the masses, or anyone else for that matter. (Experts, analyst and ecooimists included!)
Put yourself in situations where favourable consequences are much larger than unfavourable ones.
We will never get to know the unknown because, by definition, it is unknown!
Ie, the eventual size of SAN's resource estimates!
Most believe they (SAN's resources) stand on the side of "favourable consequences," but the trueth is we just don't know.
Remember, we treat ideas like possessions and for most it is very hard to part with them.
Maximize the serindipity around you!
This point is emphasized when when you consider that hypertension research led to the discovery of Viagra! "Drinking and thinking" led to the discovery of the Hinge, favouring which I won't even hazard a guess!

PS: Machiavelli ascribed to luck at least a 50% role in life, with the rest being cunning and bravura! (That was before the complexity of today's markets and frauds!)
