GOLD EXPLORATION: Huge 1,787-g/t bonanza for San Gold
MANITOBA — Every gold hunter hopes to find grades like the 1,787.7 g/t Au over 2.1 metres drilled by San Gold of Bissett. That this is the fourth high-grade discovery near the Rice Lake mill in the past 18 months makes true the old adage that the place to find gold is in a gold mine.
The latest high grade came from hole CD-09-007 drilled from the surface about 600 metres southeast of the Hinge mine. The intersection was made 200 metres below surface in a continuous quartz-carbonate vein with abundant visible gold. Within the 2.1-metre intersection, a 0.43-metre section assayed 6,465.4 g/t Au (over 50 oz/ton).
There is very little in the article that I don't understand.
