Since the 9/11 attacks there have been two attempted on-board terrorist incidents on commercial airliners that originated from or were headed to the US this decade. Put another way, for the two flight incidents there have been approximately 99.3 million airline flights carrying approximately 7 billion passengers to work, Grandma’s house, and Disneyland. Hence, your chances of being unlucky enough to have been on one of those planes under the current security system were about 50 million to one. Now however the roughly 60 million decent and law abiding domestic and international passengers that fly to, from, or within the US every month will be subjected to further mindless humiliations and personal violations. That’s random secondary screening, body searches and other unspecified directives to catch the 0.000000026% of bad guys (pictured below) that have so far managed to get through the current screening process. As a point of reference, your odds of becoming a saint are 20 million to one: mine are somewhat worse.

I believe it'a just a ploy to get US unemployment #s up!
