HM, at this stage of the game, proving up extra ozs is no longer important; the significance of last years drilling program was to establish a new geologic model that defines the high grade gold-bearing structure. It matters little to me whether the 43101 establishes 1M or 3M when the likelihood of a new mining camp that supports in excess of 10M ozs lies on the horizon. What is important to me is to agree to a cut-off date, prove up what we have and meet the criteria for the listing on the TSX. After all, once this objective is met, it will be the last time the company will have to provide a resource calc going forward. Moving to the big board will entice a whole new profile of investor (e.g., institutional) that are currently restricted from the party. Since the company continues to hit everywhere they sink a hole, the drilling results will always be considered significant; to this end, a final cut-off could remain indefinite.
I had this same discussion with IR in the recent past, but the message is falling on deaf ears. Oh to be a fly on the wall of the inner circle and know when and how! I am confident we will eventually get there, but a finalized release date would certainly appease a lot of retail shareholder concerns.
Onwards and upwards, Canuck.
