San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Price (or the best hand!) is the only scorecard in any market. The rest, no matter how you slice it is just "noise!" I've had my day with "long-term" investment success! (My best return being Nortel, which in the end was nothing less than an unadulterated fraud!)
Now, SAN, lay on some "heavy-duty" promo, promo intended to do only one thing, ie, drive the price up! (a la Murray P.) I don't think collectively they have the moxy!) Don't embarass me with a couple of silk-suited dudes who couldn't sell ice-cream in Phoenix in July, whose best shot was asking me my "handle" on a BB!
If SAN is a Nickel undervalued, heads should roll! (My expectation is to be "over-priced" relative to our peers at all times!)
I've gone to my share of Gold shows, spoken at length to management types all seemingly promising you the world and more, attended annual meetings where if you don't fit their "circle of thieves" you are totally ignored! (SAN 2008) In summary, I found most interaction a waste of my "valueable" time. (Takes me away from Tiddly-winks!) Maybe outside their Co responsibility they would offer at least a cordial greeting, but in their management disguise, with few exceptions, they are misfits all! Generally, if I hadn't spent my own coin getting to those "events," I say they were laughable!
I don't expect much! As an expierience SAN has contributed "nada" to my "world view." It never will! All I expect is above average profits, knowing full well that most "investors" (80 to 90%) "nvested" on the Venture, will, with enough time lose most of their stake! 40% will lose it all! (and management in their "indefatigable" wisdom insist on keeping us there!)
My goal is not to share that expierience! (Whatever the reason!)
My finger is never far from the "sell" button, and conversly never far from "buy!"
