high grade gold mines like this deal with a coarse "nuggety" gold. All gold mines like this cut off their high grade numbers since it is unreliable to use as data.

A geologist can't say that because one face ran 26oz/ton the mill will be receiving 60 tons of 26oz/ton material. So the geologist cuts it down to something like 1oz/ton, or if they are in higher grade areas maybe he'll use 2 or 3. it all depends on the orebody, usually the cut off grade will be determined before the ore body is even mined.

How many tons of the 26oz/ton material will the mill receive? could be half a ton, could be 50.
