Some of the posters of late have been working themselves up to a frenzy of mouth frothing proportions but there are some words in the english language (and other excellent translated versions) that could be used at a time like this.......
My favorite is patience.....
- A watched pot never boils
- Everything comes to him who waits
- All things are difficult before they are easy
- Patience surpasses learning
- They also serve who only stand and wait
- We must learn to walk before we can run
- Patience and the mulberry leaf become a silk robe (must be Traps)
- Patience is the key to paradise
- Patience is the virtue of as-es (must be what Hotmuck was getting at)
- Pay what you owe, and be cured of your complaint (good for many here)
- Peace lasts until the army comes, the army lasts until peace comes (my fav)
- People take more pains to be damned than to be saved.
Hotmuck is right to say that G was not built in a day. Read their history, it is a lesson in patience and perserverance. Great companies must lay a foundation to be strong or the house may fall before it is finished (that was me)
